As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing assigned client accounts. Success in this position requires a blend of marketing/branding know-how, strong project management skills, and excellent customer service instincts. Your goal is to build relationships and become an integral member of a client’s marketing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Develop a thorough understanding of client offerings, industry, marketplace, competitors, etc.
- Consult with clients on marketing strategies and tactics such as brand development, go-to-market plans, lead generation campaigns, interactive programs, social media, etc.
- Confidently present and propose solutions to a client’s marketing challenges
- Acquire information needed to appropriately scope projects and participate in the development of client proposals
- Effectively and efficiently manage day-to-day project details from strategic inception to final execution
- Lead client projects through the agency by successfully working with/managing internal creative resources
- Provide clear strategic direction and communicate project requirements to all internal team members
- Proactively communicate with clients to keep them apprised of project status
- Swiftly deal with difficult client situations and complaints
- Facilitate proper billing, accounting, and documentation
- Cultivate client relationships to build loyalty and mine for additional business
- Capture new trends in the marketplace and new leads/ideas for sales and business development opportunities
- Ensure client satisfaction every step of the way
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in marketing/advertising or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience with an agency or 4 years experience on the client side in marketing programs, marketing communications, corporate marketing, etc.
Required skills:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills (including proofing and editing)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to apply critical thinking, be resourceful, and quickly solve problems
- Comprehensive knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics, both printed and interactive
- Ability to take direction, but also the ability to take the initiative to get things done
- Proficient at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Primary duties and responsibilities:
